Planman Technologies, a company in the integrated content transformation solutions field, has been renamed Contentra Technologies. The new name represents the company’s focus on content transformation services and the broadening of its service lines.

The ownership and management of the company remains unchanged and the name change will have no impact on its business operations. “These past years have been incredible for the company. The goal is to dedicate most of this year toward creating awareness about the brand. Contentra Technologies wins Digitization Tender from National Library of Norway

Contentra Technologies recently won a digitization tender from the National Library of Norway. As a part of the framework agreement Contentra will be providing a full range of services to The National Library of Norway which includes digitization of microfilms, OCR processing and structural analysis of digitized images with text content, production of e-books and consultancy services.

This project is a part of the comprehensive digitization programme wherein the National Library of Norway is planning to digitize all its depository collections which contain about 70 million newspaper pages and in excess of 2 million periodical publications, several books and manuscripts.
